Strata
Stack falling blocks and clear full rows — the classic falling-block game, with an original twist and modern rendering.
Seven block shapes fall on a fixed clock; rotate and slide them to complete rows, and full rows clear. It has the things a serious player expects — a seven-piece bag so droughts do not happen, a hold slot, a ghost piece showing where a hard drop lands, lock delay, and a scoring system with combos and back-to-back bonuses.
The twist: every cleared line charges a meter, and a full meter buys a few seconds of slowed time you trigger when the stack gets dangerous. The blocks are glass lit from within by the site's accent colour, line clears burst into particles, and the board glows brighter as the stack climbs. It runs entirely in your browser, seeded so a daily board is the same for everyone.
