Media Info
Read what a media link points at, and pull the tags and artwork out of local audio files.
Running here in the page — the same app the desktop opens.

Paste a YouTube, Vimeo, SoundCloud, Twitch, Spotify or Bandcamp link and the provider, id, canonical URL and any timestamp are parsed instantly from the string itself. A single request to the provider's public oEmbed endpoint fills in title, author and thumbnail.
It cannot download the media, and no page without a server can: the media itself is blocked to cross-origin requests. The other half is the part that runs entirely locally — drop an audio file and it reads the ID3 or Vorbis tags and any embedded cover art without the file leaving your machine.
What people open it for
- Getting the title and author of a video from its link
- Finding the canonical URL and timestamp inside a share link
- Reading the ID3 tags and cover art of a local audio file
