The waveform is drawn from the actual samples, the selection is draggable, and the analysis shows true peak, RMS and any clipping in real decibels. Export writes a proper RIFF/WAVE file at 16, 24 or 32-bit float, with the header right, which is the part cheap exporters get wrong.
